Is the Security+ exam in the process of being updated? Any word on new objectives or when the new exam will go live?

I looked at the objectives on the CompTIA website and they look like the original ones.

As far as I know it is not going to be updated any time soon, in my opinion I think it is long overdue for an update though.

hrmmm... if thats true, then I better take my test before they change the objectives so I don't have to buy new books again!
