HP Business InkJet 2800 spitting out blank page after print
Hi,
I've got a HP Business InkJet 2800 spitting a blank page out after every print. Does anyone know how to stop this?
I've tweaked the driver and ensured the paper sizes (A3 and A4) are matched up with the correct tray as advised on the HP website but it still continues to do this.
It's not a big deal but does get frustrating for the user so if anyone has had this and can advise what they done to stop it, would be mucho appreciato
Thanks
Malc

Dannybear Member Posts: 21 ■□□□□□□□□□not got a seperator page option ticked anywhere in the printer setup have you?
Also, a windows update hasn't installed a driver that may be causing the issue?
Uninstall and reinstall printer? -
blackmage439 Member Posts: 163We had issues with this same exact problem at my college. On a particular HP LaserJet printer, it would shoot out a blank page or two after or during most print jobs. It wasn't like the paper was sticking together, the blank pages would come out individually. This would happen while printing something as simple as a Word document; nothing that would easily cause blanks, like web pages. Sounds like the same issue you're having.
This particualy model of printer (I believe it's an older 4100 series...) is notorious for jamming, especially if paper is put into the bottom tray. Other than that, I have no explanation for this occurance! I don't work for the college anymore, so I have no more knowledge of the status of this issue..."Facts are meaningless. They can be used to prove anything!"

Thanks for the suggestions but I checked the driver for a seperator page, can't see anything (it may be on the LCD display but not checked that and not on site until next week), We have Windows update disabled and I've set the printer up so that it is installed from the print server (novell iPrint)I've tried setting the printer up as a direct IP printer with PCL5c and PCL6 driver - no luck!

This is exactly what is happening with me. There must be some way of disabling it, I know the previous version I've installed of this printer on other sites BIJ 2600 does not have this issue.
I'll do some more searching and see what I can find!
Thanks anyway -

It is any print out, even test pages. This doesn't happen printing the same documents to a laserjet printer - I'm baffled -
