i'm able to start preparing for this exam, just passed 291 after a long battle, just wanted to say hey and let people know i'll be wondering through this forum for a while 
get back to studying!!!

Very cool, man. Congrats on slaying the beast. I'm picking up my 70-293 studies as I gear up to put the CCNA behind me and go on to get MCSE. Who knows, maybe we'll be doing a pair of "I passed!" posts around the same time. Let us know how you're progressing.

right now just in "material gathering" mode, to look at my plan of attack
i've already had the official course, that was almost two years ago and only gave me a general foundation, now it's time to drill down and knock it out
i'll be using cbtnuggets
microsoft e-learning w/virtual labs (used the voucher from my official book)
syngress
sybex
trainsignal
vmware virtual lab on my laptop
a subscription to books24x7 IT Pro library
a few practice exams (measure-up, self test and any LEGIT ones that are free, demos, etc)
of course google and other search engines/websites
technet
and a wonderful place by the name of techexams.net
after a short breather....it's back to business.....get back to studying!!! -
