Posting a Resume on monster

Does any include a cover letter on these or just post your job skills,education and certs.

Personally I have just posted a resume and when applying uploading a custom cover letter....

Yup, you're good with just your resume. Most of the replies I've gotten from recruiters and hiring managers that found me on Monster have asked me to send a cover-letter as well as an updated Word-copy of my resume as soon as they talk to me. Places like Monster, Dice, Career Builder, and even Craig's List are really just for getting people to find you and get their attention. Once you've been contacted, they'll let you know what they need in order to properly size you up.

I've never had to create a cover letter. Although it's good to have, it's not necessary for all jobs you're applying for.
