I failed to Fail. That means that I Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeedddddddd The intro. I took the test and my score was 943. I think it was easy, but like I always say if you are prepare you are going to find any test easy, otherwise you are going to find it harder. I don't know what to say because I don't want to violate Cisco policy, but I will say what I used to prepare myself:
Cisco Press: Read it one and then I went over couple of chapters
Sybex 5 edition: Read it twice
Boson Netsim
TextExams Forum LOL the best
My best advised treat the book like it is a bible, carrie the book around all the time, visit this forum a least 20 time a day and if you know somebody that work in this area ask question the more you talk the more this stuff is going to stay in your brain.

I totally agree! Nice going! There is no place like 127.0.0.1 BUT 209.62.5.3 is my 127.0.0.1 away from 127.0.0.1! -

There's no Sybex for ICND specifically, nor Intro I don't think, at least I've never seen any...Sybex bundles everything into one book (for the one test 801), so it may be best to look at the ICND blueprint and be guided by that...CCNA (Expired...), MCSE, CWNA, BSc Computer Science

You might be referring to the Cisco Press books -
boyles23 Member Posts: 130On the Sybex and Cisco Press books, there is one book for Sybex and two for Press. Sybex is an all in one book, I have them both as I am studying for my CCNA.
Congrats on the pass also.

Paul Boz Member Posts: 2,620 ■■■■■■■■□□I suggest you read over the INTRO material briefly before you start on the ICND. Without a solid grasp of the intro stuff (which you seem to have) the ICND is a nightmare. Do you have any idea when you'd like to take the ICND?CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA

amb1s1 Member Posts: 408I will like to take the test at the end of september. I don't know if you hear grocery company named A&P. Well I work for them as Help Desk and Level one NOC Support. They bought Pathmark and they are going to convert 200 and something store to A&P network, and they are going to start on October. I'm going to speak with my manager to see if they pay for the boot-camp.
