Valuable advice from Cisco professionals on exam prep

in CCNA & CCENT
Many CCNA hopefuls know about the Cisco Prep Center for CCNAs, but unfortunately, quite a few people don't notice the "video on demand" feature found on the website.

If you click the "exam study" tab and look half way down the page, you should notice a "CCNA Videos" section. These are videos made by Cisco professionals, including folks who actually create the tests.
For those that are aware of these valuable resources, you may want to take the time to also watch the CCNP Videos at the CCNP prep center.

Like the CCNA prep center, if you click the "Exam Study" tab, you will be presented with several videos. Under the title of "CCNP Certification Tips" there's an 11 minute video titled "CCNP Certification Tips" which not only explains how to prepare for the new CCNP requirements, but also how to prepare for Cisco exams as a whole. Even if you have no intention of pursuing the CCNP, please take the time to watch the 11 minute video, because the majority of the information is pertinent to anyone attempting Cisco exams. It offers key insight into the workings of the Cisco exams.

Hey Paul,
Great find. I didn't know those video links even existed.
I just got through the four ccna intro videos by James and Jerry... very very informative. Every ccna-2-be needs to get through that series.

Very good advice, I just watched those videos and took notes of info I do not recall reading from the book, thanks. The multiplayer quiz is very good for developing speed to answer questions also and apparently many of the questions are genuine test ones from what the documentation said. -

Why couldn't they have put this on the CCNA prep, might have had a chance of passing the exam had i known better how to go at the sim questions.
Anyone know what kind of codec you would need to view these when using Vista, i'm geting a codec error when trying to play the CCNP Certification Tips. -

The defiler pack is a collection of some of the most commonly used but left out of Windows codecs. Between the Defiler pack and Windows Media Player Classic I've never not been able to play something.CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA

If that's the one I'm thinking it is, I played that for a few hours in class one day. I'll have to check when I get home from work on that.
Thanks for the video links! That'll be another thing I check out after work, as any added preparation information is always good.Brake lights are a sign your car doesn't handle well enough.

Great links - and yes the binary "tetris" game is addictive and a fun way to get binary info stuck in your head
