Hi guys
I got my first MCITP welcome kit yesterday and I was very disappointed because all I got is a MCITP cert without mentioning I am certify with Vista Enterprise Support. I just wonder did anyone here already receive their welcome kit for either 70-622 or 70-623 with specific technology which they had been certified with ?
Please advise.

markieman31 Member Posts: 51 ■■□□□□□□□□does it actually say Vista support?
I am still waiting on my MCITP kit for Vista. I noticed when I requested my Welcome kit on micro's website, that there was 2, one for the MCTS/MCITP and one for the actual certification. It was 2 welcome kits i requested for the 1 exam I passed. That was the case for both the MCTS vista config, and the ITP for enterprise support. 2 kits for both, so 4 kits...If i read it correctly. So far all I have recieved is one for the MCTS and all mine says is congrats on becoming a MCTS...doesn't say what my MCTS is for or anyhting...just that I am a Microsoft Cert. Tech. Specialist. I am hoping I receive another actually for the Vista config spec and the MCITP spec. I don't see why they can just add it to the list on the Microsoft cards like they did with their other certifications. -

You did the beta's exams when I did the beta exams, right? I want to know, are your certs "chartered"? Or do we as beta testers just get normal certs even though we were early adopters?Microsoft via MCP Site wrote:Charter Members:
Q. What is Charter Member Certification?
A. Charter Members are those individuals who are recognized as the pioneering group who have achieved one of the New Generation of Certifications in the first six months of the exam release date. Charter Members are recognized with a special letter of recognition and also the Charter version of the certificate.

gomcse2002 Member Posts: 126 ■■■□□□□□□□I didn't pass the 2nd 70-622, so I end up sit for the actual exam and passed it. The cert I got is just a generic cert from MS. This is not a chartered cert nor membership kit.
I believe all the early adopters will still end up getting normal cert.eBay Addict and IT Geek from Canada

sthomas Member Posts: 1,240 ■■■□□□□□□□That sounds about right, when I got my MCTS cert I just got a certificate that says MCTS on it and does not say in what. I am sure it is the same for the MCITP. I think it kinda sucks but that is the way it is.Working on: MCSA 2012 R2

gomcse2002 Member Posts: 126 ■■■□□□□□□□This does not sound right at all. I got my MCTS title of TS: Developing Business Process and Integration Solutions Using Microsoft BizTalk Server by passing 70-235 in Dec 2006. When I received my 1st MCTS welcome kit I am expecting to get a specific title on my cer. But instead all I got was a generic one. Finally I email MCP HelpDesk and finally get a MCTS cert with my name and also specify it is relating to BizTalk Server technlogy.
Hope this helps.eBay Addict and IT Geek from Canada

Grym Member Posts: 31 ■■□□□□□□□□Yea I actually got two in the mail one for the MCTITP/MCTS and one for the MCTS, both were generic cards and certificates, kinda disappointed it wasn't more specific.
And no they don't say chartered or very much of anything on them, pretty plain.... -

We appreciate your continued interest. We would like to inform you that the Member Kit for MCITP is common for all the candidates who hold it, irrespective of the technology. NinjaBoy Member Posts: 968Most likely, what did you think of the new MS certs? I think that they are poor, about 1/4 smaller and like as if MS is saving ink or the cert has faded in the post.
