What is a Quasi test do?

Before i ask my question, dont laugh at me b/c i'm a noob to this whole telcomunications world and lanaguage...
But, what the hell does a Quasi test do? something about all 0's and 1's something something ? If anybody knows and can answer it based on a telcom point of view.

    quasi - having some resemblance usually by possession of certain attributes .

    So with that being said im sure your referring to a "practice test."

    when telco explains they are testing a circuit with quassi they are basically sending a bit pattern.

    20 consecutive ones permitted. The length of this pattern is 1,048,575 bits. This pattern is generally used as a test signal to test T1 lines.
