Are the lesson times in Microsoft Press books right?

Im reading the Microsoft Press 70-290 book and the estimated time for each lesson is way out. Am I just a slow reader or are the times just way out?

I've found that the times suggested are generally on the high side.

Maybe Im a slow reader! 30 mins usually is about 40 mins when Im finished.

In my opinion, they underestimate the time required.
