If an interviewer asked you:
What is the current main news headline?
What would you think they wanted in return??
Theres two ways I can see this:
1 - They want to know your up to date, informed, keep abreast of things etc
2 - They want to know how much you browse news.bbc.co.uk rather than work.
Which do you think? 1 or 2?

I'd say 1
( although in my present job it might because they dont think anything happens outside of them )Remember I.T. means In Theory ( it should works ) -

It's a trick question. A true geek wouldn't even know what day it is, unless explaining a calendar relative to backup-cycles.We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?
