Looking some info.

I am taking the 70-290 next week and being studying hard.

are there any questions on the new features/updates in w2k3 r2

Although it's been a bit since I've done the exams, I don't believe they've updated the exams for R2. I'm sure others who have taken the exams recently can better attest to this.

Maybe they do have some R2 questions on there now because my Examcram2 book that was published not too long ago has some R2 material and questions, such as MMC 3.0.

I did my 70-290 about 2 months ago... I can safely say that you don't have to worry about any R2 questions, because there were none. Also you don't have to worry about them because most of the fundamentals of Server 2003 are asked.
