Many of the resumes I receive have the cover letter as the body of the email and the resume as an attachment. Not sure if that's the proper way but that is how many of them are sent.

When I send out my cover letter in Outlook it looks fine.
But when I view it in hotmail the cover letter looks like junk.
sharptech
I used to put them both in a word document unless specified. I really think that is more professional then putting the cover letter in the actual email.
