What is mzmaker.exe?

It is used to compress IOS images....

No need to make two threads about it. I have never used the file, are you limited on flash space?

Exactly what do you need it for?

It was an okay tool for people without access to the UNIX tool options back in the day when the IOS images weren't available already compressed.

I don't see much use for it now unless you're starting an old Cisco Router Museum and want to demonstrate compressing an old 5 meg 11.x IOS image to fit in 4 megs of Flash.
