Hey guys, I want to upgrade the bootrom on my 2514 in order to upgrade the IOS to 12.3, but I am a bit confused. I know I need at least 10.2 bootrom for that purpose, but when I do a show ver, I get two different numbers: 5.2 and 10.2. I would appreciate if someone clarifies the difference between the two and would I need to upgrade the bootrom. Many thanks!

Just backup your current image, switch to confreg 0x2101 and give 12.3 a try, assuming of course you have enough flash and ram. -
