Hey Guys,

I just discovered this site a couple of days ago...I'd already completed my requisite 3 weeks of study.

I didn't use an awful lot of resources..the Sybex (white & red)security+ book with extensive clarifications and additional research about IPSEC, Kerebos, and Digital signing from various internet sites.

Used a few free test questions from the back of the book and the free 100 questions from the Preplogic just to get a baseline that I was ready.

By the way for anyone that's interested there is a really good explanation of how certificates and signing works at www.cgi.com/cgi/pdf/cgi_whpr_35_pki_e.pdf

End transmission..

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. Thanks for the tips and the link on encryption and signatures (hashes/message digests).

I'm getting ready to study for my security + test and wanted to ask what would be the logical next step after passing this test?
