CISSP qualifications

I have IA experience and physical experience but they do not total the five years neccessary for the cert qualificatons. My question is would it make more sense to go after the SSCP or Security+ build more exerience and then go for the CISSP. I thank in advance for your input.

That sounds like a good alternative to taking the CISSP at the moment. I took the Security+ a few months ago, and took the CISSP last Sunday and I felt that the Security+ was a good preparation for the CISSP. Good luck in your studies.

Take the Security+ first. It's an entry-level cert and covers less material than the SSCP. You'll get a good idea of how much you know about basic computer security from the Security+, and how much you know about the technical side of Information Security from the SSCP.
