When you look up the 2620 at [url http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/ps265/index.html[/url] what does "up to 25Kpps" refear to?
Example:
1 network module slot platform with 1-2 10/100BaseT Ethernet port(s) and 2 integrated WIC slots. Up to 25Kpps

Keep in mind that Cisco routers employ "fast switching" which allows the router to process switch (slow) the first packet then fast-switch (fast) future packets in the flow. The only easy day was yesterday!
