Sims me Long or Sims me short?

Ive been using two testing programs and both have a few sim questions in them.

Both programs only had me configure small things on the sim.

Like subnet this net to max of 6 hosts assigned the first ip to r1 and second to r2.
enable rip and advertise the network.

and

assign console and aux passwords

and

only allow host d to gain access to telenet and block other IP's

or am i to expect .....

The whole Bl**dy network is broken fix it?

There is no place like 127.0.0.1 BUT 209.62.5.3 is my 127.0.0.1 away from 127.0.0.1!

sorry about this i dont want to hijack the thread, but how are the sims scored on the actuall test? going by the cisco exam tutorial in the prep centre, there are quite alot of actions to perform per sim question, i would find it hard to believe they were graded the same as a 'how many host in a /28' type question.

ive been using some test sims that look like the real deal, but are aqtually screen shots of the question with no way of interacting with the CLI!? 30 bucks well spent then...

The sim questions vary from "fix this one thing" to "everything's broken, I'm glad I'm not you" types of scenarios. Be prepared to show that you know how to do the work that is described in your study materials. (After all, that's what certs are for.) As for the grading of the sims: yes, they yield a lot more points than a simple multiple-choice question. How many more points? Only Cisco knows that; but it's a pretty safe bet that you're not likeley to pass the exam if you fail all your sims, even if you answer all your other questions right.

I successfully passed the ccna today! (934) cant tell you about the sims, but focusing on the criteria set out here:

should do you right, it did me.
I found the Lab exercises in this ccna forum worth their weight in gold actually, i highly recomend them. in addition, this was really good last minute revision:
