Frame-relay Subinterface LMI Configuration...

A very quick question...
When configuring the LMI type for a Frame Relay encapsulated interface with subinterfaces... do you have to configure the LMI once on the serial interface OR on each subinterface individually? I know the encapsulation is done on the Serial interface but wasn't sure about the LMI.
