If you take the test and fail, is there a time frame that you have to wait before you can attempt to take it again?
Knowing that the end of life on this course is soon (November) I was thinking that if there was a limit of once per 30 days that I should take it now and see what happens. This would give me an idea of what I missed and what to focus on.

Certification status for exams will expire after a period of time. Candidates with a valid certification must pass an exam designated for recertification to keep their status and reminders will be sent via your email address. Please refer to the About Recertification web site for the recertification requirements regarding your particular exam.
Retaking Exams
* Candidates may only take a beta exam once.
* Candidates who fail an exam must wait a period of five (5) calendar days, beginning the day after the failed attempt, before they may retest for the same exam.
* Once passed, a candidate must wait a minimum of 180 days before taking the same exam with an identical exam number.
* Candidates who violate these policies are in violation of the agreement. Such conduct is strictly prohibited as described in the Cisco Candidate Conduct Policy.

I figured it was 30 days. I want to maximize my chances before the end of the 801 test.
I will be broke if I take it every 5 days until November 6th. LOL -

If you have to take it every 5 days days until Nov 6th then there's something very wrong with your study methods."You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. I am hoping that I don't need to take it more than once. -

Amen to that. I'd say if you want to give yourself as much time as possible wait until mid October and start taking the test. If you fail it you'll have plenty of time to take it again, and agin, etc.
But yeah, just hammer it down so you can pass it on the first go if possible."You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.
