in CCNA & CCENT
Hi all
I passes my Ccna intro a few weeks ago, but had no internet connection to let everyone know . It was not as hard as I thought it was going to be, maybe the real test is the icnd which I hope to take in about two months.
I passed with a score of 983 but as I said I was expecting a harder test. The questions were not that hard nowhere near as hard as during semester one and two of the academy program. The parts I really liked were the Sims which I thought were excellent. I had three and they were all very good and made you really think, to be honest the rest was pretty easy (which will probably give me a false sense of security for the icnd exam although I am preparing well for it .)
As a side note the new semester 3 companion guide is a lot easier to read than the older books with some really good information that’s a lot easier to understand I also purchased ccna semester 3 labs and study guide, which is another great book.
Could someone tell me if I will receive conformation from Cisco for passing my intro or do you only get this after passing the icnd.

Congrats on the pass.
Cisco will not send you anything for passing INTRO, only when you pass them both. You should be able to log in to the certification tracking system on Cisco's website to verify that Cisco has received your results.

Congratulations!
INTRO is the easy one with lots of background stuff, trivia, and router basics to learn ICND is harder, but a lot more fun and technical.

Congrads!!!! I passed Intro on July 23rd and also scored 983. I agree the test was a lot easier than I expected.
I plan on taking ICND in early Sept.
