Hi to all

May I know is anyone here got the welcome kit from Microsoft with a Cert stating that you are either a MCTS or MCITP of Windows Vista (instead of a generic cert) ?

Please advise.

I sure hope the certificates state the specific technology you're certified in...have you seen otherwise? I recently passed the MCTS: Vista exam, and should be receiving the welcome kit any day now. I will definitely post back with an update.

Would you mind posting a picture of it, if not too much effort? For how much we pay for these certifications, you'd think they could print a few extra words to distinguish the technology you're certified in icon_mad.gif

I received a generic one for the MCTS and MCITP on Vista, but when I requested my kits, there were two for each cert. It appeared a generic one for each and a specific one for each...4 kits total. I received two, the 2 generic ones. I contacted Microsoft about this, they said they would send me the ones I am missing. I've yet to receive any though, so we will see.

So what are the exams that you've passed for Vista? icon_rolleyes.gif

Looks like he passed the 70-621 or the beta, upgrading from MCDST,

If I remember correctly, I got two and they were both specific.

    IE

    MCTS - Vista installation

    MCITP - Enterprise Support

I probably should go and verify that but I'm fairly certain they were specific...

Received mine today...it is the BLANDEST certificate I have ever received (including those awards you get in grade school for attendance). A vomit yellow color with white background, which simply states I have "successfully completed the requirements to be recognized as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist". No mention of Vista icon_sad.gif

What does your transcript on the MCP site say you have for a title?
