Passed the Intro... but watch your time!!!!

I passed with a score of 850 and 2 seconds to spare. At one point, I was on question 9 with 20 minutes left! I answered the last two questions in 4 seconds (no idea what they said)! The reason for this is that I spent 25 minutes on the first question... the lab. I only had one, so perhaps it was a big one.

Be watchful of your time management and also be aware that 1 minute flys by like 10 seconds in the exam, so practice with exams that stretch you timewise. I was quite familiar with simulated lab questions, but I hadn't come across one which was as composite. You can see the format of questions on the cisco website. It would be a good idea to look at them.

On the upside, most of the other questions were ok (just a couple trickier ones at the beginning). The whole empasis of the exam was definately on subnetting. They introduced some element of it in many questions, but this is no surprise as cisco drum this into you, and for good reason too. You have to be comfortable with subnetting.

I used the Cisco Press books, TestOut (which is excellent, but a bit limited) and Transcender. I like Transcender but I don't think its prepares you well enough.

Now onto the hard stuff icon_confused.gif
