Yup, you can get some good stuff on Craig's List for cheap, sometimes even for free. I've seen some Cisco equipment go up, usually by companies that are moving, closing, or upgrading across the board. Sometimes I've even seen companies giving away "older" computers, like a lot of ten P4 2GHz, 1GB and 2GB of RAM, which would have been perfect for salvaging parts and even as complete testing systems. Sometimes you have to be quick, and really jump on an ad in the hopes to get it, but it can be worth it. (Especially if you in or close to a major city or large business park.)
