Short trunking question

ISL uses the source and destination MAC address of the sending and receiving switch. Can anyone tell me if 802.1Q uses the source and destination address of the sending and receiving end device? This detail isn't given in the material I am using... Cisco Press ICND.

802.1q only adds a tag and recalculates the fcs of a frame. 802.1q does not alter the source or destination addresses of the frame.
