Ok I am having a problem with a 3750. We had a power outage and the switch rebooted. Since the reboot I can not get the PoE to work. The show controllers PoE command delivers no output. Any ideas?? I've tried google and Cisco.com with not much luck. We have the phones plugged into external power for now, but I'd like to get this back up if possible. Thanks for any help.

You may have excceded the maximum power for the switch while it negotiates the power settings for all the phones at the same time (48 ports X 15.4 watts = 739 watts) You might want to try resetting the switch and adding a few phones back at a time, or hardcoding the power settings on the interfaces.The only easy day was yesterday!

networker050184 Mod Posts: 11,962 ModI tried those solutions. I tried restarting and hooking up one phone only. I also tried to change power inline to static form auto with no luck. I'm thinking it is probably a hardware propblem but its kind of hard to troubleshoot because it is at a remote site.An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made.
