I read in CompTIA website that to the get Network + certification you need "nine months field experience in network administration and support". Can this be for real? So if I don't have the experience I can't take the test. I think I'm missing something here, please help!

That is really a guideline - there is no requirement that says you have to have this experience to take the test. All that is required to take the test is to register with either Prometric or VUE for signing up for a test and the money to pay for it icon_wink.gif

Get a good study guide - I recommend the All-in-One Guide by Mike Meyers and take your time reading through the material. There's a lot of information in the book and there's just a bunch of stuff you have to memorize, but this test is meant for entry level network newbies, so don't let them scare ya icon_wink.gif
