Passed 70-620

tomtechtomtech Member Posts: 39 ■■□□□□□□□□
Failed 1st time with 667. Retook it a week later (earlier today) and passed with 746.

Score could have been better but a pass is pass. Now on to 621 to upgrade my MCDST. I took 620 for MCSE reqs.

I noticed exact same questions on 2nd time that I had on the 1st time. A lot of mobile devices and remote desktop questions.

=)

56 questions, 120 minutes. I spent about 50 minutes on the exam.

Passed today with 861 score icon_cool.gif In general the exam is not difficult. It took me three weeks to prepare for it from scratch. For preparing I've used Sybex book, Microsoft's "Vista: Inside Out", TechNotes from this forum and, of course, practice with every topic on my home computer.
The exam contains a lot of questions about wireless networking (I think, nearly 10) and the rest - a couple of questoins from every topic.
70-620 was my last exam for MCSA 2003, and, I think, I'll get MCTS on Vista too (don't know exactly, because my transcript has not updated yet). icon_rolleyes.gif

I've also just passed today with an (unenviable) score of 769. I'm happy enough with that though. As they say, a pass is a pass :D

Now I can start studying for the 70-622 exam icon_eek.gif

    Hi guys,

I passed my Vista exam on 29th Aug at a Prometric centre.

I was just wondering how long it takes to receive your certificate, etc?

Also when I login to the Candidate History, the exam status is still set at 'Pending' icon_confused.gif

    Congrats on the pass. :)

I took the 620 last Friday and mine is also still showing as "pending" and my MS profile has not been updated. So I'm wondering the same thing...
