in CCNA & CCENT
Hello,
I passed CCNA. I followed a day course which helped a lot. I also have a home lab. I used:
1 2503 router with 16mb ram/16 mb flash, using a 12.2 IOS.
1 4500M router with 4 serial module, 2 ethernet module, 2 token ring module and 8 BRI. (I replaced the 8 BRI with the two ethernet module), it has 32MB ram, 16 MB shared ram and 8 MB flash. I upgraded the IOS so it supports Dot1Q.
1 1720 with 1T and 1 ENET wic. (with ADSL plus IOS)
1 2924XL-EN-M switch, supports dot1q. (I seriously don't understand why people prefer to buy a 2950 for CCNA)
Currently, I'm using the 1720 as home router with an ADSL modem. (via PPPOE) It took me a while to figure out how it works. Those configurations I found on the internet where always incomplete. (they really should add "ip nat outside" at the configuration of the ethernet interface.) "ip nat outside" only at dialer1 doesn't do the trick.
In the day course I had access to 1721,1760,1751,2610 routers with 1T or 2T wics in it.
Well, despite following evening school, (I studied pc hardware & linux) , I'm unemployed. However, I'm working on getting a college degree through evening school. I learned about 2003 server. I'm increasing the pace to get certificates. The next one will be 70-270. (So I can put MCP on my resume) I want to become a MCSA and eventually a MCSE. I'm also considering getting a linux certificate.
English isn't my native language, please be patient.

are you unemployed by chioce? (waiting to finish school before work) or haven't found a job.
because it would be great to get some experience to go with that cert and pending certs.
possible look into volunteer just to get your foot in the door. [just a thought] -

I'm not unemployed by choice. I'm considering a volunteer work. Thanks for the idea.
Thank you all. -
