There are a couple ways to access a GUI for the PIX firewalls... The method I use at work is by using PDM through an internet browser.

I usually use Firefox, but IE will work as well.... To access PDM put https://<IP ADDRESS HERE> into the browser address.

This feature could be turned off though, I know that for our setup at work, only my IP address and my boss's IP address can access the PIX through PDM.

The other method I am not too familiar with... It is a slim client that does not use the Java like PDM... So I'm told it is much faster to log into ect....

Youu will need to ensure the firewall is configured to allow administrative connection from your workstation IP address. If you try to connect to it and it does not respond, you may need to allow your administrative workstation IP address access to the device.
