you want something fast like whey protein for your post-workout
That's if you buy into the concept of needing "fast post-workout proteins." Protein is needed when muscle is being built while you sleep. Immediately after a workout the body is just trying to recuperate, and it uses carbs and fluids to do that. It's better to take in most of your protein as part of your regular meals so you don't care about the "fast" or "slow" protein marketing hype.

dude, leave the fast food alone entirely.

Buy yourself some frozen chicken breasts and take them to work or school to eat INSTEAD of all the other crap you'll be putting into yourself with fast food.

    Supermarket > fast food

Well since you will not listen to anyone about eating better than Wedys maybe this will atleast help you choose something more healty from there.

additionally i would go to the nutrition section of the site and give it a read......you might realize that there is a lot more factors than just how many caleries that you intake. Additionally its good to note that there IS a difference between being built and being healthy.

    Ok a little background first....

febuary 05' i weighed 220 all flab and fat
febuary 06' i dieted down to 160 all skin and bone
febuary 07' i bulked up and started lifting. i got up to 215 mostly muscle, goal weight was 225

around july i had to stop lifting cause i moved, and lost some weight, right now i'm 180.

so i just found a new gym, and it's time to start bulking again. i'm aiming for around 8,000 calories a day. lifting 6 days a week and no cardio (for maximum gains)

so far i've been on the wendy's/mcdonalds diet. Today went to A&W and got a Papa Burger Combo:

Wait, I'm going to let you in on a little-known secret.
Snickers bars, Turtle Tracks ice cream, Twinkies and Doritos. Wash it all down with a diet coke and you'll bulk up like you won't believe. icon_wink.gif

Eat porridge for breakfast as it's high in protein and is a source of slow release energy meaning it will stop you snacking before lunch time,

If you must snack eat a handful of brazillian nuts also high in Protein

Lunch 2 grilled chicked breasts and a salad ( Protein Protein)

Afternoon snack 1 can of tuna or handful of nuts

Dinner grilled fish or chicken and salad

    evening Protein shake

Plus take supplements for vitamins or throw in some fruit and your onto a winner
