Is the SSCP Seminar attending is Mandatory

Hi ,

I am new to this forum,I planning to take the SSCP Certification as I got 6 Yrs of Experince in Network & Security.So I want to know

1/. Is the seminar attending for the SSCP is mandatory? Shall I go ahead with Self Study?
2/.What is the Exam fees for SSCP? Mention in INR
3/.What is the carrer upgardation ? Is this certification is helpful?

Some one please clarify my queries.

1. The SSCP® Applicant Requirements do not specify that attending any seminar is mandatory for taking the SSCP exam.
2. Refer to SSCP® Examination Fees for the cost of the SSCP exam and the annual maintenance fee in your area.
3. The SSCP certification is helpful if you intend to work in a field of information security.

The seminar is certainly not mandatory. How much you would benefit from attending one depends on several things, two of which are your experience level, and the skill of the instructor.

Actually, I think I'm scheduled to do one in LA the first week of December. Unfortunately it's a private closed class.
