same name in WWW & Network Domain

d-sajnd-sajn Member Posts: 2 ■□□□□□□□□□
I have installed a network/windows domain called dsajn.net on a w2K3 server.
I also have a internet domain www.dsajn.net at my ISP.

When I log in to my windows domain and try to browse www.dsajn.net in internet explorer, I can't se that page and it looks like it routes it to my windows domain.

Is there somewhere in the DNS i need to change that it should route that path out to internet?

There the types of issues you encounter when using an Internal Windows domain the same as external.

    No biggie.

A quick fix would be to create an A record on your internal DNS server as WWW which points to the external domain IP.

    Ok.

But my normal internet browsing works. It is only the www.dsajn.net that doesn't.

If i create a www where should i pont that against - is it my ISP IP? And where should I put it?

On your internal DNS, create the WWW record that points to the IP of the web server.
