ONT exam first?
Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has done the ONT exam first. Basically, I was about to start on the BSCI but I need to learn QOS quite urgently for work purposes and so I've decided to maybe go for the ONT exam first.
Does it matter if I did the ONT exam first or does it build upon BSCI, BCMSN, ISCW?

You should have a good understand ing of routing before you begin ONT, not neccessarly the BSCI but you shoul undestandd how QoS and routing and switching interact. The only easy day was yesterday!

Paul Boz Member Posts: 2,620 ■■■■■■■■□□There's no set guideline for which exams to take in what order. Typically people take the BSCI and BCMSN prior to taking the ISCW and ONT, but that's because the ONT and ISCW build on the technologies and concepts defined in the BSCI and BCMSN exams. That doesn't mean that you can't take and pass the ONT though.CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA
