Passed Today (September 10, 2007)

in AD Infra 70-294
Took this one today, 889/1000. 42 questions, 3 sims. Straightforward test, a nice break from the 291/293 combo. Covered a variety of topics.

Sims were very simple IMO. Up next, 70-297 then Security+ for my MCSE.

    I used the Sybex book, supplemented by my home/work labs. I have used Sybex for each test so far, but switched to MS Press for 297.. arghhh!! I am kicking myself for that one.

    How do you compare the 293 and 294? which one is easier in general?

    How do you compare the 293 and 294? which one is easier in general?

    anyway, good luck to your MCSE track.

    I found 294 to be easier, and I think part of the reason was the content covered. For me it was much more interesting than DNS, IPsec etc. I still would reccommend 291->293->294 due to overlap in content, but to me 294 is the easier exam.

    well im in bad shape then. i did 270,290,291, ccna, security+, now im doing 294, and going back to 293 and 298 at the advice of a teacher.

    My order is all messed up. I did 290, 270, Security+ to take a break from MS, and now I'm taking 294 on the 12th. I put off 291/293 because of my schedule, and I wanted something lighter. What did 291 and 293 overlap with on 294? I haven't had any problems with the material despite having not studied for those other two.

    I guess I should have clarified. I really meant the overlap between 291 and 293. So if you have done 291, the best bet is 293 ASAP. Both exams build the foundation of understanding AD (294), as they explain the infrastructure behind it.
