FINALLY!!!

After working as a tech level 1 for a company i don't like with people I can't stand for about 14 months, I was finally offered a tech level 2 position with the state!! 15 thousand dollar raise, better benefits, better vacation, tuition reimbursement, way more opportunity for advancement and a 35 hour work week (so i get a 3 day weekend every other week). I'm so happy I could scream!! Now i can actually afford the tuition for the master's degree I'm working on.

To everyone struggling to go to jobs you hate every day and looking to get ahead, good luck! It will happen, just keep trying.

I know that is a good feeling working through the hard times to get to a better place. The job sounds good and with the state means good benefits.
