Whats the difference between these?

2509 vs 2511

If I am going to use this strictly as an access server which is better?
encrypt the encryption, never mind my brain hurts.

    The 2509 lets you access 8 devices. The 2511 lets you access 16 devices.

    Compare the price difference and consider the equipment layout and cable lengths.
