No, the Second Shot offer is good for any Microsoft exam you take, whether it's your first or your hundreth. In fact, Microsoft even recommends you sign up for multiple Second Shots while you have the chance, if you want to take more than one test while the offer is still good.

Is there a time limit on how long out you schedule a test? I'm taking 70-290 this week. Can I schedule 291 now and apply the Second Shot then?

Just got off the phone with Microsoft. They informed me that as long as you purchase the exam during the Second Shot period and take it before Dec. 31st...you're good.

So I'm going ahead and purchasing my 70-291 for sometime in Dec. while Second Shot is still available. Spoke with Prometric and made sure that I could schedule that far out...the latest date that's available for my area would be Nov. 16th, but Prometric said that I could reschedule the exam into Dec when it's available and the Second Shot would still apply.

I'm currently with VUE. Is there anything stopping me registering with Prometric too, in order to use the voucher?
