passed: 602 (IT Technitioan Designation (2007 Edition))
Today I passed the 602 exam with 880/900 (700 passing) score.
Prep: 70-290 and 70-270 study books, my 10+ IT experience. No A+ specific books.
The exam is full of soft skill questions (I think about 50%). The remainder is Windows (XP) and other questions.
For me it was not always easy to choose the right answer so I used my common sense and must have done this quit well I think.
Lucky there were no scenario questions which finally ask what colour the technician's shirt was....

Nov 1 - I passed essentials core 601 -
this was my first CompTIA cert test - a lot of soft questions for me too like 50% or more was not ready for that I expected more hard core questions.
taking 602 on Dec 6 - wish me luck!The world is mine, now what to do with it!! -

Soft Qs are not the easiest as you see (what colour shirt was the technician wearing?)
