question for the CCNA/CCNP old timers

When were the CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE first introduced? I know the CCNA existed back in 2000 and I believe the CCIE was released before the CCNA and CCNP existed, but i'm not sure.

I first took the CCNA in 1998, I think it was out for about 6 months before I took it. The CCNP was also around the same time, The CCIE was introdued in 1993, there was only one track.

yea like you could only take the ccie or something. and people were like " umm, can we get a more entry level cert?" because it was overkill

i think cisco needs to make an entry level voice cert. like ccva or something. I mean i am working alot with telecom now and learning the fundamentals in my new job. (nortel/iwatsu/ccm/cme) and i would like to take some nortel certs. I am interested in voice certs but i can't go after a professional level voice exam like the ccvp, so a ccva would be awsome i think!
