how much RAM is really need for one of these if all they really are going to be used for is an access server?

both of those will work just fine, however keep tabs on the 2511 when you start adding more term clients as if it begins to respond slowly you will need to add more ram.Become the stainless steel sharp knife in a drawer full of rusty spoons
