Hey guys,
I happend to get an interview tomorrow for a weekend only (saturday & sunday) NOC tech position, working for a hosting company's data center, setting up OS's/install/upgrading their servers, working with linux, windows, and sun microsystems, etc...
Anyways, i'm also working fulltime mon-fri as a tier 1 help desk tech, making about $17 hr.
The interview i'm going tomorrow though for the data center tech is going pay only $12 hr for working only weekends, anyhow i could careless about the money, i'm taking this job b/c i feel like i'll get great hands on experience, that will help me on my path of one day being a system administrator.
I think if i show them that i'm willing to give up my weekends, just to gain experience and work with new technology, i'll get the job. I mean i'm working full time already, making decent money, i dont need to do this, but i want to...
Btw, also doing part time college, though i'm not concerened about getting this new job effecting my studies, i mean its only going to be weekends anyhow, plus i dont have any classes on weekends.
Anyways, sorry if this seems like a post that never ends, just wish me luck tomorrow all.
