ICND vs CCNA composite

This is for the CCNA 640-801 vs the ICND of the same test version

Is it true that the INTRO test is almost a waste of time as the ICND and CCNA are very similar and in fact the ICND is perhaps harder than the INTRO?

I mean from reading the exam objectives, it seems the INTRO well is INTRO and covers very basic stuff and the ICND covers all that basic stuff, just a bit more in detail plus more advanced topics

Before i re-schedule my ccna i guess i want to get some feedback and opinions.

Ask 10 people and you'll get 10 answers to this one. It's been aske before so you may want to look at the older threads, but I advise my students to take the 801. The reason behind this is you're going to get a mix of questions from ICND and INTRO. This seems to result in an exam that is an easier ICND exam. The material from the INTRO seems to make the 801 easier than the 811.

With that in mind it seems to work better for people who already have a background in networking, network +, or similar.

Yes most people will say ICND is more difficult tha INTRO.
