LPT1 printer port for console?

I have a adaptor that allows a printer port to 9 pin , how do I configure Windows to use the LPT port as a com 1?

The "printer port" is actually a "parallel port." The "com 1" port is a "serial port." Therefore, you're not going to be able to connect to a Cisco router's console port using the parallel port.
