    Yep,
I also dedicated a section in my resume to my certifications. Also I carry a brief description of them just in case somebody wants to learn more.

I put my certs in the education section. First I have my bachelors, then my asociates and then the list of certs.

    EDUCATION:

    a. College: B.S., Data Communication Systems Technology, ITT-Technical Institute; Nashville, TN (Currently Enrolled) Projected Completion Date (200icon_cool.gif

    b. College: A.S., Computer Network Systems, ITT-Technical Institute; Houston, TX; Highest Honors (2004-2006) GPA 4.0

    c. Certifications: Network+, CCNA

Kinda like this but a little more clean on the actual document. The reason i integrate education with certs is because I try my best to get everything on one page. IF there is someting I would like to add but do not have room, then it's something extra to talk about in the interview. IF it is something really important then I will trade out a skill or something. But I usually revise my resume for each position I apply for to make it according.

What does that have to do with anything? I wasn't aware that anyone could get a cert. without passing the exam. regardless, one must get those certs on the resume somehow. As long as it is organized and flows, I don't think it matters too much. ALso passing an exam doesn;t always mean that you earned or even deserve the cert. Gaining the knowledge and being proficient with the cert's material is truly earning the cert.

Where you list them depends on how important they are to your resume. Earlier in my career I listed mine near the top just under college education. Now that I am strong in experience, I list my certs last.
    IT guy since 12/00

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

What format do you think looks best on a resume? I'm leaning toward the most descriptive. I think its best to be most descriptive because you never know what HR will be looking for.
