Just got out of the exam about 15mins ago...

Test was difficult. Not the best score 872... But like they say its passing...

    I would assume the natural progression is to go for CCNP?

    That is the path most people choose, some may go to CCDA first then CCNP, I would say you want to to do atleast BSCI from the CCNP track if you wanted to do some of the other professional level certs like CCIP (required anyhow), CCVP, CCSP.

    It really comes down to what you like to do and what you're looking to for as a career. Voice is hot ATM

    I read a Todd Lammle sybex 5th edition book, ccna exam crap prep book, and took some online simulators...

    Congratulations on certification! Same score as I made - 872 - two weeks ago, and I was mighty happy to get it. :D

    I would say that most go to CCNP, but since it's the most common track to follow, some look to do something different. Like one poster commented, VoIP is hot, and so is security. I have heard that there are fewer jobs in these areas than CCNP jobs, but there are also fewer qualified applicants, so in theory, it should even out. I'm also deciding on what area to go into.
