Hi,
I have reviewed the CVOICE exam topics :

Besides Kevin Wallace book, Is there any other source that I can find the answer ?
It's difficult to answer it, even though I already looked up the book.
For example :
Identify PSTN characteristics, transport
Somebody can help ???
Here is the first point
Describe the similarities and differences between PSTN and VoIP including call transport, call signalling and bandwidth requirements
• Identify PSTN characteristics, transport
• Explain TDM and statistical multiplexing as it relates to telephony
• Identify VOIP characteristics, transport
• Compare operation of PSTN call signalling to VoIP call signaling

Well some of the key points:
VoIP:
* SIP, h.323, MGCP, h.248 for siginaling
* Bandwidth requirements vary on codec
* Multiplexed with other data streams
* Data stream carried by RTP using UDP
PSTN
* SS7 signaling
* 64kb/s per voice call
* circuit switched (virtual), or TDM
These are some of the things they're looking for, obviously in more detail.The only easy day was yesterday!
