So what's the difference between WTLS and WEP? They seem to be pretty much the same to me.

WTLS is intended to provide security for handheld wireless devices, like cell phones, that use WAP.

WEP is used to provide security for wi-fi devices, such as laptops that have a wireless NIC installed and connect to an 802.11 network.
