I am assuming the default gateway should be the IP of the router?

ah looks like I got it most of the way.

I had to put the default gateway of the remote hosts as the sub interface on the associated interface on the dynamips router


THe freebsd box needs some route adustments, but I don't feel like hooking up the keeyboard and mose to it righ tnow

OK I couldn't resist,

I logged into the freebsd box and added a couple of static routes to the subnets of the all the sub interfaces.

Now everythig can ping everything.


Is this really what inter vlan routing is ????
