Worth the price? and beyond CCNA?

Well i know my ICND exam is about a week away but i was wondering i stumbled upon a Catalyst 2924 XL 10/100 24-Port Switch w/2 Module Slots ( WS-C2924M-XL-EN ) for $60 plus 15 for shipping, I do plan to head down the CCDA & NP Path do you guys feel this will be of much use it seems like a great deal...let me know what you think!

    yit's a good deal if it works. I got both of mt 2924 XlEn for 65 a piece. That about market price for a used or refurbished switch. I definately would not pay over 70bucks for one.

    I got one off ebay for $50+$15. If you have several wired ethernet devices at home like I do it can still be useful for what it was made to do in the first place after you've finished studying for exams. What you get for the price is way better than anything at the bigbox computer stores!
